Hello my name is Erin and I bawl over Grey's Anatomy episodes. Full on sobbing on occasion. My cousin Amber warned me but the latest episode sealed the deal with my sob fest. In short a little 6 year old girl dies because of a terminal lung condition and as her Dad's holds her while she dies I can no longer control the emotions bubbling up. Although Isaiah has never had a serious problem, he has been to the hospital a few times and I can't even imagine what it would be like to go there for something life threatening. Blah! Anyways I thought you should know how sad I am. The End.

Discouraged

Well I'm on day 71 of P90X and I don't feel like I have made big changes with my body. I see a little in my arms but not much else where. Bah 5 days a week you think I would see some more results! Sorry I'm boohooing I'll get over it!

My weekly feature a week late

My feature this week is on Amber Eggli aka Best Friend and Cousin!
So you may be asking how I went from Pee Wee Herman to Amber, well I just figured I would actually profile an actual person I know.
Where to start? Well Amber was born in Canada and was adopted by Wilf and Laura Blum. She and her family moved to the states when she was in Elementary(I'm not sure which grade). I do remember being severely bummed when they moved. Any who Amber is a very loving person and has always been surrounded by friends. She still has friends that she knew in elementary which is a feat. She's very creative, if you haven't checked out her other blog already you should she makes amazing things out of nowhere(Baby Jane Cards and Crafts).

Amber is one of the most reliable people in my life, which is a big blessing to me. She goes out of her way to make sure people are taken care of...Where do you hide you wings Amber? She has two beautiful kids and a awesome husband that keeps her on her toes. If you don't know Amber you really should!

My weekly feature

I got the request to do more features on people and since I can't think of anything to post lately I will do that (thanks Amber!)

Now I don't know if you remember this lovely fellow but let's learn a little about Pee Wee Herman aka Paul Reubens. When I was growing up he had a movie come out in 1985 called Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure and it was so cool because he had all these gag he would pull on people and he had this crazy house that would make him breakfast. And then of course there was his lovely bike that got stolen which he had to go find.



Pee-Wee was a funny man-child of indeterminate age who created a sarcastic enthusiasm for the popular culture of the '50s and '60s. His wardrobe consisted of a gray suit, a white short-sleeved shirt accessorized with a red clip-on bow tie, and white patent-leather loafers. He wore his jet-black hair military short with a defiant tuft in front, and he accentuated his lily-white complexion with pink cheeks and red lipstick. Reubens drew inspiration for Pee-Wee's geeky behavior from a youth he had attended summer camp with.


If you haven't heard or seen Pee Wee Herman make your life a little better and enjoy this kooky humor. I think my Mom hates him but he will have a special place in my heart.

Sweet Child of Mine

Our dear clumsy Isaiah had a run in with one of our planters on the porch. I was at school when I got these texts and calls from Darrin saying to call him and come home. When I heard he fell I was worried at first that he would need stitches again. The first time was traumatizing enough. Isaiah had a little blue goose egg on his face when I came home. But the picture you see now is what it developed into overnight. He is doing well and running around like a wild man!

All we need is to laugh...

I know it's lame that I keep quoting things from other people but I figure we need to laugh a little more and these Jack Handy Depp Thoughts do the trick for me...here are just a few of my favorites....enjoy my friends and remember to laugh!!

Some how I started quoting Chuck Norris quotes at work and now I have officially dubbed January "The month of Chuck!" If you haven't heard of any here is a tidbit to the many funny things you didn't know about our dear Chuck Norris!!

Ja Ja Ja Jordans

Darrin is obsessed with Air Jordan shoes so now he is trying to carry that tradition onto Isaiah. Guess who is getting Air Jordan hightops tomorrow? I'l give you a hint it definitely isn't me. Darrin recently sold some Jordan's he had kept for 9 years a few months ago on Ebay and let's just say he made a nice little profit from it. His favorite style comes out on January 23rd so we'll see if he's one of the looney toons that goes to Footlocker at 6am. I take my other post back I'm not the only nerd in the family :)

The truth hurts

I would like you all to meet the most tactless person on the planet...me! I honestly don't think before I open my mouth. I suppose it could be entertaining at times but can't I just be cool for a couple minutes??? I am totally and forever not cool :) Feel free to pity me now in my concious state of uncoolness ...Where would one find a pocket protector? Does this mean I have to start playing Warcraft? Because I really don't want to.

English 2010 can kiss my @%@$%

One class is done tonight, the dreaded English 2010. Although there could be many reasons why I hate this class the biggest one was that because it was online there was no real explanation on any of the writings or projects we had to do. As you can imagine this greatly increased my stress levels.....ANGER RISING! Just sent in my final portfolio and am looking forward to relaxing once all the classes are finished...now I have to worry about finishing Math 1050 with a respectable grade. Wish me Luck!
