It's going to be a long night

If you can't tell by what time I'm typing this....it has already been a long night. Isaiah is sick with a cough and a fever and isn't sleepy very well so we are all camped out in the living room with blankets trying to keep him comfortable. Unfortunately for him he can't keep much down with all the coughing so I hope this goes away soon.

The funniest thing I've ever seen

So to begin this funny story I have to start with the fact that a few weeks ago Darrin taught Isaiah how to fake snore because when we try to get Isaiah to sleep sometimes we will close our eyes and begin to snore. So last night Isaiah is drinking his bottle and he closes his eyes and tells me he's done. I take the bottle and start watching T.V while holding him in the chair. I hear some snoring from him that isn't normal because the snore is ending with "we we we". I look down and his is FAKE SNORING with his eyes closed. He does it a couple of times and then opens his eyes and looks up at me smiling. He and I laughed for about 5 minutes straight. I didn't know Isaiah had such a cool sense of humor. I love that crazy kid!

Another one bites the dust

Well today we tried goat's milk hoping and praying that it would allow Isaiah to still be able to have fattening dairy. So we drive down this dirt road and buy a half quart of goat's milk...only $5...now that I can handle. While at work Darrin rubs some milk on Isaiah to see if he gets rashy. No rash and we are off to a good start. Later on he drinks about a tablespoon and BLAH! Puke city. It's a disappointing day.

So today i had a jalapeno burger and we have on demand...ask me if I want to work out??

I have to say that I actually enjoy going into work now because I the people I work with. We always get really goofy and the weirdest things make us laugh. Our new slogan is..."Kyra put the Turkey in". A long story but it brings laughs whenever mentioned. It been kinda stressful sometimes but the people there make me keep coming back everyday!

The Theory List

I was thinking on the way home from work tonight about some theories I have...feel free to tell me any you have and I'll post them as well.

Le Sigh...wasted money on my mind

Today we went to PCMC for a swallow test where they put an x-ray in front of Isaiah He swallows some barium and they watch on the x-ray how it goes down and if he is aspirating or having liquids pool up as it goes down. Here is the shocker.....drumroll....they didn't find anything wrong...gasp! Amazing! A hundred bucks down the drain to find out my son swallows just find. I should have just swallowed a hundred dollar bill and called it a day!
To add to the humor of today ...I get home from work and look in the mirror and realize that my hair style today makes me look exactly like a cocker spaniel
