Oh Dear

Izzy has cavities!!! My bad but I mainly blame the throwing up and Neocate/fruit juices. Any who we will probably have to put him under at the dentists office so they can put fillings in....I hope my insurance is good to me.

Ker-plunk

Today Isaiah tripped and fell into the corner of the front door and split his head open. He had to get 3 internal stitches and 4 outside. The poor guy had to be restrained while they did the stitches so he was VERY upset. Afterward they gave me a treat and he immediately perked up. I love how kids can bounce back from things so easily!

I love my son and his quirky cute personality! What can I say he is the cutest, smartest kid around but then again I'm a little biased!

Whew!

Okay I am still okay in math my first test score was 94%....I'm a bit relieved to say the least!!! Now I still have a fighting chance of passing math 1050 and being done!! Is anyone else looking forward to December besides me?

Pinky and the Brain

Well one test down in College Algebra...7 more to go! My trusty calculator and I will survive it though...I've named her pinky for obvious reasons. I'm glad my teach er was nice enough to mark which ones were incorrect so we could go fix them!! I find out tomorrow what my grade is I will post it as soon as I know( although if it's terrible grade there will be no posting :P )

Hopelessly confused

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Please help me I'm stuck in Math 1050 (college algebra) and I swear I'm the only one in the class that doesn't get how to do ANY story problems. I probably looked like a monkey scratching my head in confusion. Everywhere around me I heard..."Oh yeah I see now"...or "yeah that's what I figured out too." AHHHHHHHHH I hate math when it makes no sense!

Some things you might not know about me...

Here are a few secrets about myself, if I ever become a spy I hope this doesn't get leaked!

#1 I hate asking for help, doesn't matter what it is. You have to physically call or get in my face for me to accept it. I'm not sure why I'm like that but I think it's a pride thing.

#2 If I don't like you or I am not comfortable around you I will not make eye contact. I realize I do this and have tried to fix it but I just can't...heaven help me!

#3 I have a large guilt cricket on my shoulder and feel bad about any little thing I do wrong that hurts someone's feelings which is why I generally try to stay away from confrontations unless it is necessary

#4 I am quick to forgive but only if I have been apologized to, if not it takes me awhile to get over it, another thing I am trying to get over because it's just too much wasted energy.

When you trying to put your kid to sleep for over an hour and they aren't cooperating is the time when you don't like them very much...needless to say Isaiah and I aren't getting along right now.

I have a special someone as you can see...I love him and he loves me...we get in fights but still you'll see we are a happy family!

Lethbridge Whoop-up Days

Just some photos of one of the activities we have done so far in Canada...went to Whoop-up days(awesome name) and had a good time eating mini donuts loaded with sugar, saw a white lion and a lot of carnies, took isaiah on a ride that he didn't freak out on(a train) and watched my dad bet obsessively for about 10 minutes til he lost enough money lol!!! We are having a lot of fun here and I will post pictures again soon.
