One 10k out of the way

So yesterday I did a 10k race in West Jordan for a family who has 3 kids with a rare brain cancer. One of those kids died from an infection so some of the runners had a picture of her pinned to their shirts. I'm not gonna lie it wa really depressing looking at it but I think it helped me finish faster. I think my time was 58:38 which I was really happy with because I wanted to finish in under an hour. Darrin did the 5K and almost won a medal for being in the top 3 ...I think he was 5th. i have no idea what place i came in but I really didn't care i wasn't intending on winning anything I just wanted to get through it without having my knee hurt which luckily it didn't. All in all good day.

Go Erin! You are my skinny little running hero. I will always remember you for running so fast on the treadmill at the gym, not even breathing hard and I could barely WALK and was out of breath. He he he.
