I actually made something

This Christmas I actually made a few things and one of them was a t-shirt blanket for Darrin that I have been meaning to finish for months, luckily with my Mom bring here we were able to finish it in a couple of days.

I took some photos of the kids a few days ago for our Christmas card (I should have done it sooner) and I got this shot which I really like even if it is a bit overexposed. Sometimes imperfect photos can be some of the best ones

Back to the B

I just finished my 5th class of Bikram Yoga tonight after a 6 month hiatus...this shiz is rough!! Rough is good though, if I'm close to passing out I know something is happening! HA

Regardless it is finally helping me lose this stingy baby weight....man you hit 30 and your body says, "uh yeah right you think eating a couple more vegetables a day is going to do anything?"

Anyone want to come with me and possibly pass out but feel fabulous after?

Homemade memories

Another blog post already? What...

I would like to make some homemade gifts this Christmas so I am trying to think of some easy(possibly no sewing involved) gifts.

Does anyone have gifts that they have loved receiving or gave that are homemade?

I love getting homemade treats/goodies. Granted it doesn't help the weight loss issue but it is still much appreciated and I will eat it all!!!!

I remember as a kid we didn't have much money but we would help my Mom make Rice Kripsie wreaths and homemade chocolates and we would drop them off to friends and neighbours, you always seem to have fonder memories of giving then receiving at Christmas...

My bug

Ezra aka Bug is growing fast he is already 4 months old and is getting quite the personality...I am so excited for his first Christmas! It will just be cute to watch him play in the paper while he ignores his gifts, ah babies they know what's going on don't they?

And just because I should...baby toes!

By the way can you believe how long it's been since my last post? I blame Pinterest!!

I have a new favorite website called Pinterest where you pin things on your board that you see on other people's boards...I'm telling you it's very addictive because there is so many great things out there.

Bright Side

I am really trying to find the good points in a disappointing situation.

Sometimes it's easier said then done.

Regardless in the long run it makes me a happier person.

Does anyone else struggle with this?

Hey friends!

Our little family has been enjoying some company from my parents and my sister. Tomorrow is our last day to hang out before they have to go home to the Motherland...sadly I will be alone with 2 kids next week and I'm not sure how that is going to go???
